This program will provide a review of 2011 - 2012 Call Report revisions, accounting changes, and regulatory guidance.  Recent changes have produced confusion and many questions.  This is your chance to get the answers that you need. 

This seminar covers two new accounting updates that will effect banks' March 31, 2012 Call Report. Goodwill Impairment Testing, (ASU 2011-08), and Restructured Loans, (ASU 2011-02). Both are effective 1-1-12. Goodwill impairment and restructured loans are critical issues that can have a negative effect on bank performance and regulatory evaluation. Understanding of and compliance with accounting changes is often more difficult than revisions to Call Report schedules.
