MBA Blue Book Directory
The MBA Blue Book is the most complete compendium of information on Michigan banking institutions available anywhere. The registry contains listings of Michigan banks and bank holding companies, associate members, regulators and federal agencies. The directory not only features a Buyer’s Guide section that lists major suppliers of services to Michigan banking institutions, but now also has a glossary of banking terms and a listing of the Register of Deeds offices in the state of Michigan. Compensation and Benefits Survey

Outside Directors Survey
This Outside Directors Survey offers key information pertaining to the frequency of annual board and committee meetings, fees paid for various levels of Board services, and benefits available to the outside Directors. Statistics are differentiated by region, bank’s asset size, and number of full-time employees. The mandatory retirement age, year-end bonus, and any absences allowed without change to fees paid are also contained within the survey.

Consumer Lending Forms

The MBA Fifth Edition Record Retention and Destruction Manual-Released in October 2011
Since 1972, Michigan Bankers Association has been providing Michigan financial institutions with this invaluable tool to guide Members through both Michigan and Federal laws regulating record retention. As regulations change, the MBA will be offering future annual supplements that will be automatically shipped to those banks who purchased a manual unless you opt out of the subscription program. The manual is written and updated by the MBA’s legal counsel, Warner, Norcross & Judd LLP and can be purchased in either a CD or Hardcover version.
