This program will explain the regulatory landscape in a methodical manner, laying out the foundation for you to grasp the skeleton of regulations and how the changes af fect your institution. The program is designed to interact with the speakers and others on how to apply these concepts in such a way that will engage every area of the institution (with or without them actually thinking of it as compliance). We will also take a transactional approach to teaching concepts about the most frequently addressed deposit, operations, and lending compliance regulations. There will be something for anyone who feels overwhelmed by the pace of change within the regulatory framework of banking.
Intended audience:
This program is for compliance officers/managers/staff, auditors, risk managers with compliance responsibilities, line staff, members of compliance committees, and anyone who conducts compliance reviews, monitoring, and training.
What you will learn:
This seminar will overlay the most recent regulatory changes on top of the basics for understanding compliance and monitoring your institution’s activities. This seminar will address the purpose, scope and coverage of the primary laws and regulations that banks must comply with in the post Dodd-Frankenvironment. The sessions are designed to offera framework for understanding how and why the regulations exist while providing tools and resources to help connect the dots. The focus is to help turn all the parts into a methodical program that will enable the compliance professional to manage day to day activities in a confident manner.
