Join bankers from across the state at the premier event for banking professional in Michigan, the Michigan Bankers Association’s Annual Convention. This year’s theme, Focus on the Future, has us looking ahead to the future of the industry and what action will help Michigan banks achieve a productive and prosperous year.

As always, our program will be packed with sessions on:

  • The Future of the Economy
  • Reaching Beyond Excellence
  • The Future of Community Banking
  • Hot Compliance Issues
  • Doing the Impossible
  • Transcending Turbulence

And don’t miss our newest event, the twilight boat cruise. See the island, the Mackinac bridge and the lighthouses all lit up while enjoying a wide range of food.

Keynote speaker James Bradley is author of Flags of Our Fathers and Flyboys, James Bradley tells the stories of ordinary people achieving the impossible. His inspirational stories will challenge you to understand and remember the example that earlier generations have set and to move beyond the impossibilities in your lives.

Political humorist Mark Russell plays off the day’s headlines. This stand-up comic will leave you in stitches as he pokes fun at political leaders and their antics.

David Cole is the chairman for the Center for Automotive Research. He will discuss in his presentation how the global automotive world has been undergoing profound changes. He’ll also discuss how suppliers, manufacturers and retailers appear to be at the edge of a new beginning that promises to lead this industry to an era of success and prosperity.
