Bank Locations Needed!
Volunteer to host an MBA Grassroots Meeting!
The MBA is seeking member banks to host grassroots meetings at their bank (or a location in their legislative district) with State Representatives,
State Senators, or members of the Michigan Congressional Delegation. Grassroots meetings typically include the host bank President/CEO along with bank
directors/bank management personnel (5-10 bankers).
A MBA Advocacy staff member will attend and provide discussion topics, which have recently included: banking industry legislation, the SBT, economic
recovery, competition with credit unions, regulatory reform, and a legislative update from the legislator(s). These meetings typically last between 1-2 hours,
food and beverages can be provided.
