To assist in educating juniors, seniors and first-year graduate school students interested in a bank-related career.
Scholarship Amount $1,000
Requirements for Scholarship Consideration
- Full-time* student must be a Michigan resident and attend a Michigan or out-of-state college or university providing a four-year degree. Students must “retain their Michigan residency.”
- Student must be pursuing at least a four-year degree.
- Degree program must be finance related, i.e., business administration, economics, agriculture, etc.
- Student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
- Scholarships are provided after successful completion of the sophomore year for juniors or junior year for seniors.
- Funds are paid directly to the college or university for credit to that individual’s tuition expense for the following year.
- The student must show promise and leadership qualities and be involved in campus activities.
- Applications must be received by July 15 of the academic year for which aid is sought.
Goals
The scholarship fund goal is to provide scholarship funds yearly out of the interest earned on our investments. As the fund grows, we anticipate a perpetual scholarship fund.
